A really nice, quiet (about 10 hikers on the whole way) hike with wonderful views in all directions. Unfortunately, the Sillian cable car is not in operation. The starting point, Thurntaler Rast (1976 m), can be easily reached via Ausservillgraten on a good but narrow mountain road. No refreshments are possible on the way. Highly recommended tour.
From Sillian with the Thurntaler 6-seater gondola first about 3.5km from 1100m altitude to 2090m altitude. Here we start the Thurntaler Rundweg. This first leads us up a wide gravel path, then we continue over wonderful little paths, I call them chamois paths 😆, over stick, stone and meadow landscape to lead through a small forest shortly before the goal and then again over wider gravel path to the gondola station. We found an emergency hut on the way that we could almost have used 😅. But luck was the rain and the thunderstorm only started when we were sitting at the hut 😊. In the cloudy with the 6-person gondola down again. 😅 fortunately without thunderstorms. Unfortunately, Komoot also recorded the altitude meters incorrectly here 😡😤. What a shame 😬. For some people, the vertical meters are important before they start. Based on Komoot recording then unfortunately crap 😪. As a picture, the real height meters. Otherwise it was great 👍🤗
