On this extensive day tour you will move between the two large rivers of the Swabian Alb. You will discover beautiful river valleys and deep green forests. There are a few inclines to master, but they are never too steep. Embark on a journey through the unique landscape of the Alb-Danube district.
The start is in Dietenheim. Right at the beginning there is a longer slope waiting for you, then it goes wavy through the wooded landscape towards Weinstetten. On the varied route you pass places such as Dellmensingen with its water tower that can be seen from afar, Achstetten, Laupheim and Mietingen. There are always cozy places to stop for refreshments on your way.
Over the Rot and past the Wain Castle you will finally reach the Iller again, where your journey began. At the end there is a small loop south through the Illertal before you reach your starting point in Dietenheim again. There is a rail connection along the route in Laupheim and a little further away in Altenstadt, Illertissen and Erbach.
