What had been feared yesterday in Ried in Rhine-Hesse, but did not materialize, has now become reality today: road closures due to flooding. This did little to harm the southern loop of the Hungen circular route, but it was still a nice lap.

A mulled wine for all six protagonists from the guides at the Trais-Horloffer See (beach bar) and the visit to the Steinheimer Heide with its apocalyptic lakes calmed the spirits, even if the promised sun didn't materialize.
