Hiking
This tour is not a walk in the traditional sense. A few too many meters in altitude are involved and a certain level of fitness is required. But you can still look forward to it: you will get to know the Salzburg Pinzgau again from a particularly promising side.
To tackle this tour, you first let the Schattberg X-press (saalbach.com/de/service/infektur/a1-a2-schattberg-br-x-press_a_1592) "fly" you up the mountain . Then the hiking feet take over and carry you up and down through the wonderful mountain world.
First stop: the Hacklberg Lakes. Their picturesque surroundings are ideal for a short rest. Then you climb over the Klingler- and Seetörl to the Klammscharte - of course, a grandiose view included. Over the Rohrertörl, past the Hochsonnbergalm and the Maurerkogel, you march through the lush green landscape to the Kesselscharte. And from there it is not far to your destination, the Schmittenhöhe with a magnificent view of the glittering Lake Zell.
Tip: Because there are no huts on the way to stop for refreshments, you should definitely pack enough water and snacks. You can also look for your own private picnic area in the wonderful natural surroundings.

The HM are not a problem and that's why I installed 2 Kogel and therefore deviated from the actual route for a short time, but kept coming back to it.
The views are wonderful and the view would have been clearer today, certainly totally impressive 😊
I can only recommend the …
