This tour wasn't for us. It's doable, but you have to like roads and cities. Mostly, we rode on streets or bike paths next to streets, so there was constant noise. The few quiet corners or sights didn't make up for that.
Actually nice tour only the section on the country road without the bike path Is not so great.
I probably haven't found all of the everyday people, but most of them. was fun
I started the tour today from Oelde, the route is almost exclusively via bike paths and roads; is very varied with fields, plum plantations, forest paths, towns, ... the bike paths in WAF / GT are 1a with ☆! 😁 In Rheda it is worth taking a look at the castle complex, in Stromberg a detour to the castle complex. On the tour in Stromberg is the Teeke / Café Heinrichs bakery with ☕🍰 and the ice cream factory - located in the bakery -> simply divine😋👌! Alternative: The original tour "From manors and moated castles" starts at "Kulturgut Haus Nottbeck" , Landrat-Predeick-Allee 1, 59302 Oelde - a great starting point with sufficient parking spaces directly on the bike path (see planned tours).
