This hilly tour is like a miniature with everything that the Swabian Alb has to offer: picturesque river valleys, exciting history, idyllic landscape and of course hills. You start in Münsingen, which you can reach by train and drive over the Fauserhöhe to the Grafeneck memorial with its dark history.

Then you roll down into the Lautertal and can visit the famous stud in Marbach. The idyll on the river does not last long, because it will soon be uphill again. Here the landscape is varied and new views await you after each hill.

In Gundelfingen you will reach the Lautertal again. There you can strengthen yourself in the Bauhof-Stüble before it goes uphill for the last time. Once at the top, a unique panorama awaits you as a reward. Then it is not far to your starting point in Münsingen.

I can only recommend the Great Alb Tour, one scenic highlight after the other.
Anyone who loves the Swabian Alb will be delighted, and the descent into the great Lautertal is fantastic. I modified the ascent to the Alb a bit and it now leads through the Heiligental directly to Bemelau.
