Hiking
Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required for the magnificent Seefeld Königstour over ridges and exposed mountain climbs. After the ascent from Seefeld in Tirol with the mountain railway to the Seefelder Joch, a breathtaking panorama awaits you. On a ridge path you hike to the 2,220 meter high summit of the Seefelder Spitze - when you reach the summit cross you can enjoy an impressive view of the rugged Karwendel mountains.
Then you follow a rope-secured path along a steep scree slope. Initially, low mountain pines line the path, then you dive into an inhospitable rocky landscape. A ladder takes you to the Reither Spitze, at 2,373 meters the highest point of the Seefeld Königstour. A short and steep descent later you reach the wonderful Nördlinger Hütte, which welcomes you with a steaming Tyrolean Gröstl. From the hut you descend in serpentines to the mountain station of the Harmekopfbahn, which takes you comfortably back to the valley.
