The Isar Nature Adventure Trail near Krün - Alpenwelt Karwendel

On the Isar Nature Adventure Trail, you and your family will discover the living space and nature on the Isar at interactive stations. Highlights are, for example, the water features and the tree telephone - will someone pick up the phone at the other end? It starts in the center of Krün, which you can also reach by bus.
At the maypole you walk over the Schöttlkarspitzstraße to the town hall and further down towards the Isar. From here you go over the Isar bridge to the left of the green signs in the direction of the "Isar-Natur-Erlebnisweg" along the beautiful mountain stream. The path runs with slight climbs through the forest to a viewing bench, on which you can enjoy the snack you have brought with you. Then it goes back down to the Isar floodplains on the great discovery trail, which invites you and your whole family with its numerous display boards and activity stations to join in and discover.

A special highlight is waiting for you in the clearing. Because here is a wooden raft that your children can play on. A little later you can watch swans and water birds at the Isar reservoir. After a short ascent, at the entrance to the village, keep right along the Isar over the pebble educational path back to the starting point in Wallgau. But now you've earned a delicious stop!
