I did it many years ago. It's still a great tour in a beautiful landscape.
KJ5, beautiful, small, fine round🤩Pure nature and great paths. After Oberkessach it climbs slightly, you ride through the Kaiserhöhe golf course, then a moderate climb to Hopfengarten and then ....🚴♀️ the bike runs down through a wonderful landscape. The path only runs on the road between Leibenstadt and Korb, but we didn't encounter any vehicles. A short stop in Korb at a cute little Kneipp pool, which serves its purpose well😃 and then the legs have a break, until Ruchsen you hardly have to pedal anymore, it runs and runs and runs. In Ruchsen you turn back onto the Jagsttalweg for the last stretch to Widdern with a great view of the 80m high Jagsttal bridge. Conclusion: the KJ5 route is an absolutely recommendable round trip through a quiet landscape☺️
Here you can watch the tour: https://youtu.be/FOCm6HiOjMo Our last day in Möckmühl. We still had something to do, so the tour was a little shorter. In summary, it was our most scenic tour here. Varied, great cycle paths (side valleys, Limes cycle path and green spelt cycle path), wonderful views, lots of shade, car-free throughout. We said goodbye to the "Swabian Tuscany", tomorrow we'll continue on.
insider tip! A recommended tour through two side valleys of the Jagst. Pure nature and you only hear the crickets chirping. Splendid!
