The journey is by car over the Zwiesel Bridge (toll station) to the Kurzer Grund. Park there in the hiking car park at the Wegscheid Inn. The hike begins on a forest path, then you change to a narrow path that shortens the path through the forest and crosses streams several times. Always follow the signs to the Neue Bamberger Hütte. After about an hour, the path turns back into the farm track and you soon reach the Neue Bamberger Hütte (currently not open). Behind the hut, follow the path across alpine meadows until a sign shows the way to the Schafsiedel. From there, continue on a signposted mountain path to the Unterer Wildalmsee. A good 20 minutes later, you reach the second lake, the Mittlere Wildalmsee. After a few steps in the terrain, you finally reach the Oberer Wildalmsee, which lies directly below the summit ridge. Now it is only a short climb to the summit of the Schafsiedel (2,447 meters). The descent takes place on the same route as the ascent.
Unfortunately forgot to record the tour from the upper mountain lake down. 🤷🏽♂️
The technology must have taken a break 😅 it must have been 15 km 🤷🏼♀️ A very nice tour, it was foggy in the middle but the sun 🌞 appeared at the summit😊 there weren't many people out and about on Sunday, which is very nice 😃
