Romantic forest paths, fabulous views of the Torrent valley and legendary sights along the way: Does that sound exciting to you? Then you've come to the right place on this quality hiking trail. Especially if you fancy a few tough climbs and are sure-footed, you will have a lot of fun on the almost 17 kilometers.

The tour begins in Boxtal and challenges your calf muscles right from the start. You climb up a steep forest path to the Hohe Steinen. The natural monument and geotope makes time tangible because the sandstone rock group was created by erosion. And stones remain a theme of the day. Finally, you come across two memorial stones in the forest: one is dedicated to Saint Wendelin, the other has the unusual name Hoi Hopp. There is a legend about the latter that involves a border and a ghost.

The route takes you back to Boxtal via idyllic forest paths. On the final few meters you can enjoy some beautiful distant views. The start and end point of the circular tour is a parking lot in the middle of Boxtal - right next to the Gasthof Hotel Zur Rose. Incidentally, in some areas of the tour there may be forest and logging work from time to time.

Today the LT2 🥾 was on the agenda - and what a tour! 😍 I had actually hoped that the sun 🌞 would rise early and bathe the route in warm light, but no luck! ❌ Instead it was overcast ☁️ at 0 degrees ❄️, which gave the atmosphere a very special charm.
