The Binauer Rundweg offers you a lot of nature, wonderful views and history. So look forward to a varied circuit, which, with its nine kilometers, is perfect for a hiking tour for the whole family. The starting point of the route is in the center of Binau - by the way, it is also very easy to reach by public transport from Heidelberg or Heilbronn.
At the beginning you follow the Neckar on its loop around the place, until you then leave the river and start the gentle climb up to the Binauer Höhe. Once at the top, you can put your legs up on a lounger and enjoy the fantastic view over the Neckar Valley.
The altitude for today is done, now you hike downhill again to Binau. On your way back you pass the apple orchard and the Dauchstein castle ruins with their eye-catching keep. When you return to the center of the village, you can take a look at the remains of the historic castle before you look for a cozy place to stop off at the end of the day.
