To kick off the long weekend in the Teutoburg Forest - Eggegebirge Nature Park, we started with a tour of the "City of Easter Wheels" - Lügde.
Very nice hiking trail 🍀, starting in Lügde at the Kilianskirche. Parking lot with direct access to various hiking trails 👍🏻. Varied trails with lots of benches that also provide information. ☀️🥾🍀🐕
A fitting conclusion for May: an easy tour around the Osterberg in summery temperatures. From Kilian's Church we went through Eschenbachtal - a very beautiful area. Further up to wonderful panoramas and, surprisingly for me, a golf course in the middle of the hiking trail ja (yes, exactly that way;)) but without a hit through 🤪 At the Osterberg-Kreuz there was a chilled break with a magnificent view of Lüdge before we set off to descend to the Emmer. Then there was the well-deserved 🍦 in the park. It was still too full to stop by, even though it wasn't overcrowded there at the time. The Emmerauenpark has turned out great. For big and small.
NEW hiking pants, NEW hiking backpack, so test the new equipment at a wonderful 20 ° C and in the sun ☀️. It started at the Kilian's Church near Lügde, on over the Emmeraue and straight away through the beautiful Eschenbachtal. Then it went up to the Pyrmont heights formed by shell limestone. Then briefly pull in your heads on the local golf course and return to the edge of the Lügder-Pyrmont valley basin. At the cross of the Osterberg there was a short picnic with a great view and later a delicious ice cream in the Emmerauenpark. What more could you want 🤷♂️🙏
Very nice tour with many sights and a beautiful view
We've been to Osterberg several times before. But today's route was new to us in some places. It was very beautiful there, often with shade, but also with sunshine. It was quite warm. We saw lots of butterflies, and we hadn't even seen the stamp station with the Tree of the Year before. It's amazing that nothing is vandalized there. A very nice tour in any case.
Today we finally went to Osterberg. Planned thanks to @Céline Sophie, finally managed after a year. Very nice walk. Afterwards we went to the zoo in Bad Pyrmont.
