Beautiful tour in the beloved Allgäu 🥰
It will certainly be even more beautiful later on in terms of the flora 😊

Today, a really beautiful tour with Stefan and Danilo over the Scheuen Waterfall to the Piesenkopf!

The weather held up well, and the temperature was fine – only the snow and the deep mud in the raised moor gave us a hard time today.

Very cool waterfall especially when water comes down properly like today. The subsequent round, once the annoying snow has gone, is certainly very nice and easy to walk. I skipped the Piesenkopf today because the snow was getting softer and heavier. I'll be back 😁

Oberstdorf Day 2. A hike starting in the hamlet of Rohrmoos (reachable via a toll road) and up into the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, a cross-border protected area. There, we went through beautiful high moors with rare plants and animal species and up to the viewpoint mountain Piesenkopf at over 1600 meters. Unfortunately, the weather was significantly worse than forecast, with …

We were unable to visit the Piesenkopf due to the large amount of remaining snow (mid-May!). The rest of the route would also not have been possible without the Komoot guiding because all the trail markings were still under snow.

It was pretty warm today, but we just had to make the most of the weather after work!

So we headed off quite spontaneously towards Balderschwang and from the “Scheuenalp” car park up to the Piesenkopf. At first the hike was boring along a tarmac road through fields. Luckily it soon turned into a path that led up to the …

Great tour over (cow pasture) meadows, through forest, beginning and end on asphalt, but always a great view of the mountains.🤩 Unfortunately, it didn't really record a part of the tour for me, so the pause was pressed... (🤔).. .is the straight piece in the map... 🙈🤣
