This lookout is reachable via a short spur from the main path and is definitely worth your time and effort. The hillside falls away from you and directs your eye to a stunning view over Horseshoe Bay.

The Sphinx Lookout gives you a great view over Alma Bay and further afield toward Geoffrey Bay and Nelly Bay. You'll need to take a detour of roughly 200 metres to reach the lookout but there's only a small amount of elevation change so it isn't enough to worry about.
