The supervised swimming area sits on the shores of Lake Raymond and is equipped with picnic tables, and nearby parking with washrooms, making it one of the most convenient places to take a break along this section of the trail. The open lake views and easy access to the water make it a natural place to linger on a warm day.

Rivière du Nord

This stretch of the Rivière du Nord flows alongside the P'tit Train du Nord, offering peaceful water views between the forests and lakes of the Laurentians. This section beside Lake Raymond is one of the most scenic, with open lake views replacing the usual forested corridor.
