From my accommodation I hiked the Mitnattssolststen on the local mountain Luossavaara. A lot of rock has already been mined here. There is a lift station at the top. There were great views of the distant mountains, the city of Kiruna and the forests.
The weather was good and the mosquitoes left the first impression of what to expect.
