The Ibacher Panoramaweg in the southern Black Forest offers you great views of the Alpine panorama. The twelve-kilometer circular route takes you around the Ibach high valley formed by the Feldberg glacier and crosses the “Kohlhütte-Lampenschweine” nature reserve and the Klusenmoos. Along the tour, sky loungers invite you to relax.

Great round trip with the greatest Alpine panorama view in the Black Forest and the most beautiful bus stop. There is even fresh tea and biscuits there
Impressions from our hike today on the Ibacher Panorama Trail. We were treated to some wonderful views. Unfortunately, it was a bit hazy in the Alpine foothills. All in all, a great and enjoyable tour. ⛰️⛰️🏔️🗻
A path for connoisseurs, and rightly so - Ibacher Panoramaweg. We decided to walk the sunny sections first thing in the morning. With a pleasant 16 degrees and wet grass, we were able to enjoy the Alpine panorama to the full. I will definitely do this tour the other way round again, I can well imagine that you can see a wonderful display of colors in autumn. Highly recommended, as there are always lots of shaded areas. Finally, we drove to Todtmoos for lunch at the butcher's shop. I never pass by here without stopping in. https://www.dorfmetzgerei.de/
The above quote is from the Hiking Institute website: https://www.wanderinstitut.de/premiumwege/baden-wuerttemberg/ibacher-panoramaweg/ I did the tour the first time on a dog walk: https://www.komoot.de/tour/85197410?ref=aso The second time was as part of one of my Schluchtensteig loops; you can find a more detailed description here: https://www.komoot.de/tour/848786164?ref=aso Today I chose this loop because it's not very strenuous and boasts plenty of blooming heather! The section through the Ibacher Moos, with its two streams shimmering orange due to the moor acids, is also magnificent. Otherwise, you'll circle the "largest sun bowl in the Black Forest," and the view into the high valley is simply pure Black Forest idyll!
The altitude information is unfortunately shown incorrectly here. The values shown are heights above sea level
Thanks to HeBo, I did another super nice tour today👍. The gourmet trail "Panoramaweg Ibach" was on the program today. A well signposted circular route where you can enjoy a wonderful view. Since most of the summer trails can be found here, it is very easy to walk with snowshoes. Unfortunately you can't see the wonderful alpine panorama on my photos😲. Thank you very much for your inspiration HeBo!!!🙏
Ibach panoramic tour This hike is for the warmer days as it is consistently at over 1000m, making it a few degrees cooler than the lower regions. The tour takes you around the tranquil town of Ibach, which extends in several districts across the entire high valley, which was perhaps once shaped by glaciers. Rarely have I seen more moor-like areas on a hike and just as many pastures with blooming flowers that are allowed to grow here and are not mowed down before they can even bloom. In addition, we caught a fairly clear day, so that we still had a good view of the Alps in the morning. In the south the Alps, in the north the Feldberg, which is somewhat hidden behind the Spießhörner and the Herzogenhorn, as well as beautiful blooming meadows. For me that is 100% Black Forest.
