A lot of ineven surface walking makes it more difficult on feet snd knees. The ancient dead trees at the far end of the loop are the highlights of the hike.
A great tour through great scenery! The difference in altitude wasn't that big, but the vegetation was absolutely different! Jungle changed to moorland and further up to alpine terrain. Downhill again the forest became denser, tall eucalyptus trees and dense undergrowth, in which the many screeching birds could hide wonderfully from us and our Ferngkas. 🦜🐦🕊
