https://www.naturwanderpark.eu/wanderwege/a-felsenweg-6-teufelsschlucht Once again an absolute board, video on YouTube will appear in a few weeks
Part II of today's tour after a Komoot restart. The tour is beautiful, very varied, with wonderful views and views and fantastic rock formations. In the Teufelsschlucht the temperature difference was so great that I only "steamed" 🤣. The "Felsenweg 6 - Teufelsschlucht" has been nominated as Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in 2021! And rightly so 👍.
Just a stone's throw from the Luxembourg border, this long and varied hike recently won second place in "Deutschlands Schönster Wanderweg 2021". Starting at the utterly unique "Felsenweiher" and passing countless bizarre rock formations and epic viewpoints, it's easy to understand how it scooped this prestigious award. The hundreds and hundreds (literally) of coach tourists clogging up the narrow trails near the "Teufelsschlucht" rather spoiled it for us, but the other 17+ kilometres were peaceful, natural and utterly gorgeous. TIP: On a Sunday or public holiday, walk it anti-clockwise. Like this you'll be hiking with (rather than against) the inevitable flow of tourists near the Teufelsschlucht.
This tour was wonderful-beautiful!!!😊 You can see our enthusiasm based on the number of photos and I could have taken 10x as many 🙈 I discovered fossilized fairytale creatures in many rocks, many caves and holes and then the different colors! The Teufelsschlucht went one better, but the whole round was worth it😊 The weather showed you at its best again, we only notice the many steps after the work is done 😅
A very nice route, very varied, not too difficult, but not too easy either. The Teufelsschlucht itself is an absolute insider tip!!!
A really great path and it deserves to be the second most beautiful hiking trail in Germany in 2021 (the win would have been deserved). But it was also demanding and since we had the Teufelsschlucht at the end, it was also exhausting. At the rock pond you can turn a black box and then the story of the pond is told in four languages. Ingenious rock formations and beautiful autumn foliage. The paths are almost entirely narrow. The highlight was the pigsty, the Felsenweiher and the Teufelsfelsen. We released a stone. Absolute recommendation!
Most of the tour leads past great rock formations. One has a beautiful view over the Sauer valley with Echternach. Because a lot of people were on the way, we wanted to bypass the Devil's Gorge, but then we got back to the path below the Devil's Gorge over a very steep slope (the next time it was down the Devil's Gorge, our parallel path was nothing) The excursion to the Irreler waterfalls is worthwhile if you haven't been there yet. (That means: once down and then up again) The section of the path over fields and meadows was comparatively not so nice, but it is essential to get from one path to the other. This was a very delightful hiking tour. We didn't sit anywhere in the 6.5 hours. By going up and down along the rocks, I had the feeling that it was a lot of vertical meters. I think you should definitely be in good physical condition, good shoes and nice weather.
Fascinating rock faces and beautiful hiking trails. We did the 18 km with our kids (8 and 10) so it took almost 7 hours. But it also goes steadily up and down. A very worthwhile round!

Hello, do we go with a Thule stroller? Or approximately how many km are too complicated even when wearing it? Thank you
