This tour to the Neue Bamberger Hütte starts at the car park at Gasthof Wegscheid in Kurzen Grund, from where you'll first enjoy a leisurely walk through the forest. Soon, a vast alpine meadow opens up, and you'll immerse yourself in a wonderfully diverse landscape that repeatedly offers great views of the surrounding mountains along the way.

The destination of the tour is the Neue Bamberger Hütte at 1,761 meters above sea level – a year-round DAV hut with a warm atmosphere. Here, regional specialties and a terrace with wonderful views await you. If you like, you can even stay overnight to enjoy the mountain world (and the sunrise) for longer.

The return journey then takes you back relaxed along the same path to the starting point. A tour that is particularly worthwhile, especially due to the combination of a leisurely hike, impressive nature, and a genuine mountain hut stop.
