Seyssel, on the right bank of the Rhône, is a charming town nestled between the Grand Colombier massif and the Mont des Princes, between the Rhône and the Ain. Its hillsides host charming vineyards bearing the town's AOC. The mix of river, mountain, and vines creates a unique and very pleasant setting for cycling. This is what this loop, accessible to most people, offers.
Starting from the AquaLoisirs leisure base, it begins with the only difficulty of the day, the climb to the hamlet of Charbonnières. This is where the mountains truly begin. Rather than venturing onto its technical trails, you head towards Corbonod, with its beautiful church and vineyards. A short detour allows you to better appreciate the mountains on the left bank of the Rhône.
Then you descend towards the river, not forgetting to stop at the charming Eilloux waterfall. The route ends with a few kilometers close to the water, riding peacefully back to the leisure base.
