Fancy some lakes? This loop takes you through a particularly water-rich landscape around Füssen. Lakes, forests, and quiet paths alternate, providing plenty of variety along the way.

You start near the Lechfall. From here, you'll go through Bad Faulenbach on the "Pfad der Sinne" (Path of the Senses) to the first lakes. Mittersee and Obersee are idyllically situated in the valley and are also great for a swim in the summer.

Through the forest, you'll reach the Alatsee, which stands out with its calm, almost mystical atmosphere. Continue towards Weißensee, which suddenly opens up between forest and mountains. The shore path runs close to the water, sometimes over roots, sometimes through a rock gate.

An ascent then leads you back towards Füssen on quiet forest paths. Via the Theresienbrücke, you'll cross back to the other side of the Lech and reach your starting point in a relaxed manner.
