At this point, the Bohusleden starts and the Hallandsleden ends - or vice versa, depending on the direction of travel. Located directly next to the waypoint is a comfortable wind shelter that is suited with blinds and a bbq area.

Lakeside Shelter and Fire Pit

Highlight • Mountain Hut

A simple shelter set right by the water, equipped with a fire pit and basic seating. It’s a good spot to take a break, for fishing, to have a snack or warm up, especially on longer hikes along the Bohusleden.

Tulebosjön Bathing Area

Highlight • Beach

A designated swimming area by the lake, with easy access to the water and space to rest. In warmer months, it’s a natural place to stop for a swim or a longer break along the route.

Gunnebo House

Highlight • Castle

The castle was built in 1778 as the summer house of a wealthy Gothenburg merchant. The house was considered one of the most magnificent Swedish wooden structures at the time. Today, the renovated castle is one of the most beautiful Swedish examples of neoclassical architecture.
In 2001, George W. Bush and the other summit participants met here on the eve of the EU summit. They had chosen an idyllic location.
Today, events apparently take place here, as evidenced by a large stage.
There is supposed to be a café-restaurant with a kitchen garden and a bread bakery. However, I did not discover this.
