Highlight • Trail
Porterstown Park on the western fringe of Dublin is a small council run recreation area. The surfaced perimeter path is about a mile long, creating a nice easy, multi-user trail for many. The park is made up of formal planting, open green space and the large running track and athletics venue (registration required to use this). There is a Saturday Parkrun and a mobile tea van.

Porterstown Parkrun is a fun free event, starting here at 9:30 every Saturday morning. You can run, walk or race the marked 5km trail. It's very welcoming and a great way of getting out and starting the weekend well. The event is run by volenteers so consider helping out once in a while, or bring some family/friends to marshall and cheer.
After the event runners gather at the pop up coffee stand in the park, you are warmly invited to join them.
