This route was planned by komoot.
Even before the start of the tour, we saw a young grizzly bear baldowing about 25m away in front of our car in the forest. After that, a certain part of our hiking community was not quite so convinced of my beautiful route. After a short persuasion, it was then but in the mountains. We walked over red rocks, which in harmony with the green nature and the grey/black charred trees made a wonderful contrast. After we arrived at the upper lakes after many panicked looks in every direction, we were able to enjoy the view and our nut mix all to ourselves for a few minutes. Luckily we didn't meet any more bears during the hike, but instead we were constantly joined by cute squirrels and ground squirrels.
