Rüfikopf Trail (Panorama Trail)

Look forward to a challenging trail running loop with a starting point in Lech, which leads you over the Wöstersattel up into the high alpine terrain of the Rüfikopf.

You start at the Dorfhus in Lech and first run on the Flühenweg above the village. At Stubenbach, the steep ascent towards the Wöstersattel begins. First, a forest path leads you uphill, later the trail quickly gains altitude in narrow, rocky switchbacks. Once at the top, the high alpine landscape around the Rüfikopf opens up.

The way back leads via the Schafalpweg back towards Lech. This downhill is the most technically demanding part of the tour and requires sure-footedness and concentration. If the final descent should be too demanding, you can also alternatively take the Rüfikopfbahn back down into the valley.

Adequate footwear with non-slip soles is essential in the high alpine terrain; refreshments are available during opening hours at the mountain station of the Rüfikopfbahn.
