This circular tour around Lake Brienz takes you from the idyllic lakeside promenade, past the spectacular Giessbach Falls, to stunning viewpoints high above the lake. Apart from one challenging climb, you can look forward to moderate cycling with panoramic views.

You start at Interlaken East train station and reach the lakeside promenade after just a few kilometers. The shimmering lake will accompany you throughout the day. Sometimes you'll observe it from a great height, other times you'll experience it up close.

The Giessbach Falls are a great opportunity for a break. You can park your bike for a while and admire this natural spectacle before continuing your tour around the lake. There are several places to stop for refreshments near the shore along the way, before you arrive back at your starting point in Interlaken.
