The circular trail through the rocky gorge is impressive with its natural rock arches, fissures, and stalactite caves, and occasionally requires sure footing and a head for heights. However, you'll be rewarded with fantastic views.
The hiking parking lot in Streitberg is the starting point of your tour. After leaving the village, the trail leads up to the Bing Cave. This natural karst cave is open to visitors. Passing the old Streitberg quarry, you hike towards "Guckhüll."
After descending from "Guckhüll," a forest road leads into the woods, and you ascend to the rock arch. Halfway up the slope, you'll find a well-maintained Kneipp facility during the summer months – a wonderful place to soothe tired feet. Afterward, a pleasant forest path leads to the Trinity Church in Streitberg, the starting point of your hike.

You follow the traces of a dried-up river for almost 300 meters through the mountain, past fantastic stalactite and stalagmite formations. Mighty banks of layered limestone and delicate, crystalline, glittering sinter formations characterize the cave. The temperature down here is around nine degrees Celsius year-round, so be sure to pack a warm sweater!
Opening hours and prices:
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 1st to November 5th. Admission is €4.50 for adults and €4 for children.
The cave can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Duration: approximately 40 minutes. Tours run continuously, but there may be a waiting time of about 30 minutes.
