The circular trail through the rocky gorge is impressive with its natural rock arches, fissures, and stalactite caves, and occasionally requires sure footing and a head for heights. However, you'll be rewarded with fantastic views.

Small but nice tour from Streitberg to the Bing cave and on to the Streitberg castle ruins. If you don't know the Bing Cave, you should definitely plan a visit. The cave exit is right on the hiking trail, so you can continue the tour there. The next highlight is the Streitberg castle ruins with the new hole prison opened in 2020, which you should definitely visit. Note: The hole prison is from 01.10. - April 30th closed due to bat protection. After we have enjoyed the wonderful view from the castle ruins, we continue uphill along paths, past bizarre limestone cliffs and magnificent views of the Wiesent valley and the castle ruins of Neideck zum Guckhüll. Unfortunately, there is no view here due to the tall trees. Downhill it goes on over narrow mountain paths and forest paths to the shell source and finally back to Streitberg. Parking is available in the commuter parking lot directly on the B470.
Start in Streitberg at the community center. The route is marked throughout with a black ring. Partly asphalt (a piece of road at the beginning and at the end), mostly forest floor. Steep gradients and rooty paths. There are always wooded sections, therefore suitable for very sunny days. Today 27 degrees and cloudless. Varied hike in the beautiful, rocky landscape with wonderful views. Today without Binghöhle. Plants: rose hips, hazelnuts, oaks. Animals: lizard, ground squirrel, woodpecker, butterflies, spider. Stopping off: a kiosk right at the start/end point, today we were a little further in the Senftenberg Felsenkeller. Found in the KOMPASS hiking guide Franconian Switzerland No. 13.
