Hiking
Almost 21 kilometers full of beautiful panoramas, beautiful stream valleys and historic buildings await you on the "Iserbachschleife" Wäller tour. But don't let the tough distance put you off – you can cut corners along the way. But first let's start walking. You start in Anhausen, and you walk east and towards the Steinebachtal.
You walk along idyllic paths and past a small mountain hut straight up to the first highlight of the tour: in the middle of the forest, the church ruins of Hausenborn enchant with its mystical nature and ancient walls - a wonderful experience! Immediately afterwards you walk downhill again to the next valley: the Saynbachtal, which takes you to Isenburg. Once you arrive in the city, you can take a detour to the ruins – otherwise just walk along happily.
After a short climb to Ebenfeld, the so-called waterway takes you to the wild and romantic Iserbachtal. From the Thalhauser Mühle, idyllic small fishing ponds appear again and again along the way. By the way, the mill also marks the shorter (yellow) route back to Anhausen and is also ideal for a short break.
Once you arrive at the picturesque Veltens Weiher, it is not far. You walk slightly up through the Siehrsbachtal to Rüscheid. From the lookout pulpit you once again have a beautiful panorama. Then you walk quietly back to your starting point.

Today's itinerary included a Wäller tour.
For those who don't know, these are various hikes in the Westerwald.
I've done a few before, but that was before my Komoot days.

The second third was dirt roads through the stream valley, also nice in itself, but dragged on.
The last third was across fields, probably to show off the view from up there, but it didn't quite grab my attention.
I liked the first third, …
