Yesterday the imposing rock tour in the "Little Luxembourg Switzerland", today instead almost a meditative forest hike through the mystical Kammerwald. This tour also crosses borders again. Along the way, we passed impressive oaks, including the famous Königseiche. It has been a National Heritage Tree since 2022 and, at 38 meters, is probably the tallest sessile oak in Germany. In …

We copied today's route from the "Nat'Our Routes" website. We've hiked one of these nature trails before in previous years.

This route, number 6, really appealed to us, especially because of the view of the beautiful Vianden Castle.

We've visited it before, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

In addition to the app, this route is also easy to follow thanks to the signs and signposts that are everywhere. Good to walk and a few beautiful places to sit for a while. Very quiet, hardly encountered any other walkers and therefore saw a deer that crossed the path at about 20 meters
