The trip is 10 km. But we stopped at the Fiskebæk parking lot, about 200 - 300 m. From the route. And yes, we went a little away from the path and went closer to a smaller path, by a wetland. This was also where the wall of the stream was. 👣
Farum Lake is surrounded by a forest along the lakeshore, where there are several nice campfire sites, a shelter and a bird tower.
I would suggest that you walk the lake counterclockwise, as you have to go through some buildings and noise from the highway in the NE part of the lake. There is a forest path on the map in the SW part of the lake, but it is blocked by the landowner. I have written it on one of the pictures from that part. Otherwise nice trip.
