This route was planned by komoot.
The third day begins at night. With a storm that shakes the big birch tree under which our tent stands. And with the call of the cuckoo, who informs us that his night's sleep has been shaken too. Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo. Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo. We laugh in the tent. At 1:30 am, at 3:00 am and at 4:00 am. The cuckoo is awake all night, we more or less too, at least every now and then. We can't fret about that though, instead everything here feels surreally normal. As if we were part of this nature as a matter of course, even if our rots tent stands out from it. The rustling of the birches and beeches accompanies us on this third stage. It is the first in which we hardly leave the forest, instead diving deeper and deeper into the deep green. Again and again a brook babbles and sometimes the ferns on its banks grow so green, the insects buzz so tirelessly and the birds sing so loudly that we feel like we are in the tropics here in southern Sweden. USEFUL INFORMATION: There is drinking water at the fire station behind the small lake Djupet. The water tap is signposted with a small sign from the junction to Agusa. Then again at the Agusa rest area.
