Jossgrund circuit The 11.7 km long Spessart Trail awaits those looking for happiness in Jossgrund with a variety of impressions and delightful experiences in nature. The slopes in the Jossatal, which are exposed up to higher elevations, pamper hikers on this tour with their outstanding wealth of views. The former moated castle welcomes hikers to Burgjoss with grace. The imposing sight of its mighty castle wall lets your thoughts wander into chivalric times - a moment to dream. The path leads through the green Burgwiesenpark of the castle complex, out of the village, to the narrow bank path of the Jossa. The narrow path meanders through the floodplain along the meandering, alder-lined river
Spessart track the fourth… .. 🥾 Today we ran the track in Jossgrund. It was probably the last home tour before South Tyrol the next Saturday 🏔 The tour itself is quite unspectacular but somehow nice from the route. Signs are clearly visible as usual and generally easy to walk. The weather was terrific today ☀️ and we were happy to have gone out. We had a quarrel at first because the night before was pretty short 🍻😅 The official description of the tour as usual here: https://www.spessartbogen.de/de/spessartfaehrten/jossgrund/
Back from the Harz 😉, now I'm going back to Spessart and Rhön. The Spessart track is very beautiful, not very demanding. Tip: Do not walk when it is too hot, about 3/4 in an open area
A varied, very beautiful hike on the premium Spessart track in the beautiful Hessian Spessart! Whether forest, flower meadows or fields. There was always something to see. Horses, highland cattle, alpacas and also butterflies, cats and beetles embellished this tour. The first sunny, then cloudy weather was just right for this tour. The final stop in the Schafhof Café with a large cup of cappuccino and homemade cake rounded off this wonderful hike. Let's do it again! 🥾🎒🦋👍
The Jossa circuit from Burgjoß is always beautiful. But today in winter temperatures below zero ❄️, with snow and sun 🌞 it was simply fantastic. The snow ☃️ crunched underfoot. Splendid! The thick layer of ice all over plants and trees was particularly impressive. The freezing rain from a few days ago actually had something good. Unfortunately, the sparkle of the sun's rays on the ice layer doesn't really come across in the photos 🤷 In Oberndorf you can take a break at the local Italian restaurant. Alternatively, Cafe Schafhof 🐑 in Burgjoß is highly recommended
A very nice Spessart track, with dear friends, for Father's Day 🥾🍺🎒 We can unreservedly recommend the tour 👍👍👍 It was a lot of fun 🥰 A great day in the Spessart 🌲😎🌳
A very nice tour of the Hessian part of the Spessart. The varied path led us through fields and meadows. The stretches through the forest bring some cooling in this weather. The two climbs rewarded us with a beautiful panoramic view of the Spessart. And the last 800m along the Joßbach invite you to take a little break on the benches. At the end of the tour, directly opposite the car park, you can reward yourself with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake in the Schafhofcafé.
