https://www.visit-eislek.lu/de/tour/eislek-pad-diekirch-1 Another loop in the Eislek region: the one around Diekirch. All the Eislek trails can be explored via the link above. We chose this one today because of the Teufelsteller (Devil's Plate). This loop doesn't really have any major highlights. The Teufelsteller is an exception. The route is moderately difficult and leads through pristine nature. To be honest, I really struggled today. I was completely exhausted; it was very strenuous for me. However, I didn't lose any points for the route just because I was feeling a bit weak 😂 With freezing temperatures at the start, we were happy to see the sun after reaching the first ridge. So, after just 5 km, we enjoyed the sunshine on a small bench. The freezing temperatures transform the scenery and the small lakes into beautiful, unique photo opportunities. Add to that beautiful sunshine, and the hike was perfect. After another break and a proper snack, our energy levels returned, and we were able to finish the hike without any major injuries.
