Secondary peak off the beaten track with path and environment that give satisfaction. It starts from the bridge over the Caffaro just before the Gaver plain, taking the path on the left that climbs up the side of the mountain. After an initial part with a good climb, an almost flat stretch anticipates the rest of the path that climbs with a good slope up to the final stretch on rocks and debris. The descent path with passage to Mount Boia requires attention in the sections on rocks, steep slope and trace of a path full of holes among the tufts of herbs. Where the slope becomes lighter, the path presents no problems. Always beautiful environment from the fir forest that give the ground to the larch trees, high mountain meadows and rocky environment at the highest altitudes. No source of water up to the lower Bruffione hut.
very scenic and wild tour, the only flaw is that the 5 km before arriving at Monte Bruffione are poorly marked and take place on uncomfortable stones and it is very easy to lose the path (at times non-existent), especially without a GPS track. It is therefore necessary to be familiar with this type of environment and also have good physical preparation. not recommended on hot days. make sure you have enough water for the whole day, because it is not easy to find on the trail.
