This route was planned by komoot.
The tour starts from the hamlet of Valnontey following the river, after a couple of bridges and after an hour of walking you will reach a crossroads, turn left and climb quickly, up or cover a difference in height of about 500 meters, to be done with sure-footed and unhurried (it took us an hour and a half abundant), then continue along the path with ups and downs to the alp, where you can enjoy a great view of the Gran Paradiso massif. Then continue along the path, with various ups and downs, almost under the glacier. The path then begins to descend, with some quite steep sections, and you cross several bridges and fords, some "challenging" until you reach the path that runs along the river until you return to Valnontey. The total travel time, with several stops and almost an hour of pauza for lunch, was 9 hours.
This post is to warn anyone who is going on the ring route of Alpe Money. Because of the glacier water---too heavy and cut the road off. We had no way to get back after 7pm. Ending up rescue. PLEASE IF YOU GO, CROSS THE GLACIER STREAM BEFORE 12pm!!!!!
