Very scenic route sometimes a little narrow or with some rocks to pass. I would never do it in late spring or summer
Such a beautiful tour today, stunning views, and it got milder and milder as the day progressed... through beautiful vineyards, oak groves, and a ridge path along the shore with stunning views along the coast 👍🥰🌈🍀💐 Highly recommended. Best wishes and have a lovely evening 😊🙋🏼♂️

A landslide meant the path to Portovenere was closed and so we went down to Le Grazie, then took the bus
We were blessed with fantastically beautiful weather 🌞 for our last day of hiking in this magnificent landscape. 🤗 From Riomaggiore, we first climbed to the associated pilgrimage site of Montenero. Unfortunately, this pilgrimage church also didn't allow us to enter, but the view from here is indescribably beautiful! 😊 The path continued upwards through vineyards and small hamlets to Colle del Telegrafo, where there's even a place to stop for a refreshment with a fantastic view. 👍 Now, for a longer stretch, our tour became a beautiful ridge path through the rustic forest, from which views of the sea and the Gulf of La Spezia repeatedly opened up. The quite wild landscape was interrupted by the small village of Campiglia, where we found another bar in a dream location. 👌 As we continued along the steep slopes of the peninsula toward Porto Venere, we were captivated by the incredibly beautiful views over the azure sea and along the Ligurian coast to the islands of Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto. 🤩 You can't get enough of them! Gradually, we approached Porto Venere from above, beautifully situated at the end of the peninsula. The small town has a pretty old town with narrow streets, and at the end, the small church of San Pietro sits picturesquely on a rock opposite the island of Palmaria. This tour is also stunningly beautiful, full of magnificent views, and at times requires surefootedness and a head for heights. However, the climbs were less steep than on previous hikes here. We were once again thrilled! 🤗
From Campiglia to Porto Venere it gets very rocky. A real challenge in the summer heat. The majority of it consists of natural rock steps. This continues for about the last 2 hours to Porto Venere. There are only a few easy passages here. But if you are in good shape, you can manage this hike - even if it will end with a few curses for those who are inexperienced. 😉 I recommend a boat trip back.
Route suitable for everyone... Last piece from Campiglia to Porto Venere to be careful... two passages a bit exposed
