The story of the events is well told here: https://www.lastradadeimonti.it/da-cornalba-alle-casere-dellalben-sentiero-martiri-di-cornalba/ Challenging but not technically difficult trail with a fairly steep initial climb of 90 minutes in the woods and a steep descent on the return on the panoramic path. Beautiful environments, the experience is worth both from a historical and landscape point of view. At the highest point, at the foot of Mount Alben, it can be cold even in April-May
A breather at the Alben refuge: 1 hour and 15 minutes uphill from Cornalba via the partisan trail. A half-hour break at the refuge (today more beautiful than ever :) and then a descent along the panoramic trail, passing by the cliff.
