This route was planned by komoot.
During this time of year, the valley is particularly beautiful due to the blooming pastures. Numerous edelweiss flowers can also be found along the trail.
Tackling the path that from Malga Cadino leads to Passo della Vacca, the lake and the Tita Secchi refuge, in this period is something unique. Immersed in the blooms you can also find the edelweiss and rest assured that the marmots will accompany you throughout the journey. The cuisine of the refuge deserves a taste
MALGA CADINO CORNA BIANCA PASSO DELLA VACCA LAKE OF THE VACCA Return
Great hike in the high Alps. Since the starting point was already at about 1800 meters, the remaining meters in altitude were not that strenuous. From lush green meadows to barren rocks and snow in June, everything was there. Unfortunately we couldn't see any chamois, but a number of marmots. That was a nice experience for us lowland Tyroleans.
An excursion in excellent company, Lago della Vacca is a classic that never disappoints. This time, taking a different tour, we enjoyed the various natural lakes along the route. The "rebel" pasta from the Tita Secchi refuge is always happy to be eaten 😉
