This route was planned by komoot.
The departure is at the Premassone Refuge where you can easily leave your car, provided you arrive early. From here, immediately take the path that leads to the Baitone refuge, which can be reached in 1h and 30 minutes (at a good pace) with a climb that is steep right from the start. After a first stop, continue towards the Tonolini refuge with a walk of about 30 minutes (at a good pace). The path alternates between an uphill section, a slightly downhill section and then a final rather steep stretch. We finally made a passage towards the first lake which is located along the road that leads to the Frozen Lakes. The return takes place on the right side of the lake with a final stop at the Baitone refuge where we stayed overnight.
