This route was planned by komoot.
Cold day, but clear also because it was windy. Wide panorama from Piani, excellent visibility. The path that ascends from Moggio to Piani remained in the shade during almost the entire climb, which took place in the morning starting from 10:00/10:30.
Just like last year, we study and plan an excursion in January with snow. The chosen destination is the Piani di Artavaggio starting from Moggio. You arrive in the morning at 7.15am and immediately set off along path 724 which begins to climb gently but steadily. A few icy spots where you need to pay close attention and in a short time you arrive at the Piani where snow, snow, snow and more snow awaits us. After a brief stop in the beautiful church, we decide to try to climb Sodadura and the time comes to put on the crampons. The arrival at the summit was pure joy, the descent was fun as if we were in toyland, the return was filled with gratitude for this fantastic day
