This route is pleasant in any season, the difference in height is minimal and is therefore practicable by everyone. Very suitable for those who have a dog especially if they love water!
Pleasant walk to Sant'Anna Pelago to see the waterfalls
Great summer classic, the tour of the 5 waterfalls (+1) is always an excellent excursion. Completely in the shade we walk along a comfortable and wide path from which the descents to the waterfalls depart where it is possible to bathe in the freezing water. The Great Beech shows us the next end of the climb and the beginning of the return where we will find a spring further down the valley. We go down a slightly steeper path to the Cascadora and then a detour to the Pozzo del Pisano (10min. off the path). We return to the parking lot returning to S. Anna. The only flaw if we want is the large crowd but with a little mutual respect it turns into an opportunity to have a chat.
Nice route starting from Sant 'Annapelago for the Waterfall Trail. In its course you go up the Rio Valdarno and some of its tributaries and meet 6 waterfalls, no technical problems apart from a slightly steep and stony descent to see the Cascadora waterfall.
Walk in the woods, pleasant and not too demanding
Some notes on the route: The route is mainly in the shade, and starts from the sports facilities of Sant'Anna in Pelago. More information can be obtained by visiting the website https://sentierodellecascate.it/
