This route was planned by komoot.
Today we have made the Almrundwanderweg from Dun. From the parking lot it was straight uphill. First rest was on the Bodenalm. From there it went steeply up to the Gimblalm. Up to here it is a really nice route. However, the descent leads over gravel roads. Only when you come to the old Duner way, the round is pleasant again.
A beautiful tour with wonderful views. Sure-footedness and high hiking boots are necessary.
Today the host drove me to the start of my hike. Unfortunately no bus goes up there. So I wouldn't have wanted to drive that with my car, such a narrow street madness. Thanks for driving. The Almenrundweg starts at a parking lot in Dun. The "Alte Weg" goes steadily uphill to the Gampielalm which is at 2047m. I only took pictures of them. It's a long way to the bridge over the Eisbruggbach. From the bridge there is a charming narrow hiking trail downhill to the Bodenalm at 1700m. There we took a long break and enjoyed the sun 🌞. It is then again a farm road to the street. Since I wanted to get to the bus to Pfunders, I went along a beautiful forest path and a kind of pilgrim path. The last part of my way led me along the river to the stop 🚏. This hike is very quiet as there is not so much people here. Can only be recommended for those looking for peace and quiet. Of course you can also run this the other way around.
