I recommend the tour in the direction shown and not in reverse. The ascent to the Hanicker Schwaige is very nice and has some nice impressions. It gets really great from the Hanicker Schwaige, from there you have an impressive view, so bring a little patience. :) Personally, I would extend the tour above if necessary and go a little further in the direction of the Kölner Hütte before descending, if you still have the time.
A really fabulous round, which is quite exhausting on the last ascent. If necessary, you could use the bus to get back to the Niger Pass from the lowest point. Although there are still a number of beautiful views to be enjoyed.
Worthwhile tour with a magnificent panorama. Can be shortened by bus.
South Tyrol Hiking made a bigger tour
Today we hiked from St.Zyprian to the Vajolet Towers via the Plafötschalm to the Haniger Schwaige. Very varied over root paths, developed hiking trails, along a stream, over picturesque alpine pastures and past old larks. The first part of the tour leads straight to the Vajolet Towers, with a gigantic view of the Rosengarten every time. You can stop for a delicious meal at the Haniger Schwaige. The way back leads along a panoramic path at around 2000m, which promises a panoramic view of the Latemar, Ortler Group, Ötztal, Hammerwand and the Schlern. Unfortunately we had snow and missed the lush meadows, but the paths were wonderfully passable. Back at the Niger Pass we took bus 186 to St.Zyprian. Nice tour 💝
What a great round.🤩 Although it’s getting down to business right from the start 🥵↗️, the amazing view of the valley and the Rosengarten massif, the great paths 🏞 and the impressive mountain streams 💦 compensate for all the hardships. Simply mega beautiful
Hats off to Wilfried, what a tremendous achievement! Up to 2,000 meters of altitude! Notice the distance and the speed!
