Very scenic tour. However, from the lake away consistently steep to the end of the forest. Then along the slope and rocks with a great view. From the last meadow to about 2 km before the Rifugio Pernici, the terrain is very steep and partly exposed. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are basic requirements for the ascent. Not recommended …
