Hiking
A demanding high-alpine traverse across the Sella massif, including the summit of Piz Boè (3,152 m).
Starting at Passo Pordoi, the path climbs steeply on foot to Forcella Pordoi and continues across the rocky plateau to Piz Boè. From the summit and the Capanna Piz Fassa hut, the route heads north toward Rifugio Boè and on to Rifugio Pisciadù, before the long descent through the exposed Val Setus to Passo Gardena.
This is a serious mountain hike with long climbs, high-altitude terrain, and hazardous via ferrata sections that require sure-footedness, a head for heights, and proper equipment. Best undertaken in stable summer conditions, with time planned for stops at the rifugi along the way.

Comments
1. Finding a cheap parking space at the Gardena Pass (we didn't dare park wildly). 2. Descent to the Pordoi Pass was very unpleasant. 3. Bus ride back from the Pordoi Pass to the Gardena Pass (lines 471 and 473 - duration 1.5 …

The Sella crossing from south to north -> start at 6°C at the Sass de Pordoi mountain station, past the Rifugio Forcella Pordoi first to the Piz Boè, highest point at 3152m. Unfortunately, visibility wasn't that extensive due to clouds. Then descent to the reef. Boè, continue via L'Antersas, down to Pisciadù Lake …
