A wonderful, sensational and dreamlike tour in the foothills of the Alps 💪😎😉🥰 in front of the backdrop of the Alps: just imposing, outstanding and unique 😇😁👌👍 - just experience it, then you know what makes adventure cycling so fascinating...🤝👍👌 😇🌞😄💪😎😉
Today another tour to relax around Lake Staffelsee. Start in Murnau, very good parking next to the Edekamarkt on Kemmelallee. With a view of the lake and the mountains, we cycled via Riedhausen and Uffing to the nature reserve. We came to Bad Bayersoien through picturesque 👩🎨 beautiful forest areas 🌲🌲 and lush green meadow landscapes. A hailstorm raged there about two weeks ago, the roofs of all(!) houses in town were badly damaged🏚️, the trees 🌳 were mostly completely stripped of their leaves and the crops were destroyed. That looked really horrible. Past Bayersoiener See (very beautiful swimming lake🏊♂️🏖️) we continued through Geizenmoos to Bad Kohlgrub. From here we cycled along the Lindenbach only downhill through the wildlife sanctuary and Murnauer Moos back to Murnau. The tour has a fantastically beautiful landscape, but the cycle paths leave something to be desired. Large parts were only roughly gravel and sometimes a little more difficult to ride, but no problem with a mountain or gravel bike 😌
The tour is a suggestion from the local tourism office, which I followed. I didn't go to Bad Bayersoien because the residents certainly have other things to worry about at the moment than "curious" tourists (severe storm damage from the last weekend in August). The route partly went through wonderfully cool forest areas, but also very sunny sections with wonderful views of the mountains 🤗
There are some "official" bike tours here at Staffelsee, the "Panorama Tour" had me wg. immediately laughed at her title - and we were not disappointed 😍 On well-kept paths we went north of Staffelsee to the absolutely pretty Bad Bayersoien, and south of Staffelsee back again. From Bad Kohlgrub (this spa town has apparently already seen its best years 🙁) the route is congruent with the Bodensee-Königssee-Radweg (BKR) ... today I was reminded again(!) why the BKR is still there Very high on my list of the "most beautiful cycle paths ever": The route through the Murnauer Moor is just a dream 😇👌🏻 I'm looking forward to being able to continue exploring this wonderful spot around Lake Staffelsee - especially since the temperatures are now below the 30 degree mark again this morning after a thunderstorm ⛈️ and you can really (!) enjoy cycling again can🚴♂️🚴♀️✌🏻
Today the weather finally cooperated, and we were able to go on a longer bike ride. The Murnauer Moos is a great place to cycle, even if our feet did get wet a bit ☺️.
Today we went on a lovely bike ride around Lake Staffelsee and through the Murnauer Moos. Amazing scenery and beautiful nature. Very nice bike paths and wonderful places to stop for a break. 👌Many, many years ago 😂😂we often vacationed in this area. We have many fond memories. ☺️It was great fun.
A beautiful tour through nature with some elevation gain and a detour to the Staffelsee. 🚴♀️🚴🏽👍👍
