This 60-kilometer circular tour connects the Blaues Land (Blue Land) with the Pfaffenwinkel region – and it is precisely the latter that shapes the character of the route. Rolling hills, tranquil moors, and traditional monasteries make cycling here a diverse experience.

Trail Reviews

Paul
April 5, 2025, Sanfte Hügel und grossartige Moorlandschaften - eine Tandemfahrt zwischen Benediktbeuern und Murnau in Oberbayern.

A beautiful tandem tour on this warm and almost cloudless April day! The first part of the tour in the northeast ran over very gentle hills and wide open landscapes with only a few scattered farms. Otherwise, there were lots of meadows, many small moors, and forests. After Murnau, the only hill. It's a bit uphill, but the trail is easy to ride despite being marked for mountain bikes – we never had to push. And the final third of the tour took us across the large moor of the Loisach River towards Benediktbeuern. Very impressive scenery!
