Große Klammrunde mit Themenweg in der Leutascher Geisterklamm

The hike begins at the Geisterklamm parking lot (P19) in the Schanz district. Right at the beginning, the cozy Leutasch Klammstüberl restaurant invites you to dine – the perfect place to enjoy regional specialties before or after the hike.

The trail leads into the impressive Geisterklamm (Ghost Gorge). An 800-meter-long walkway leads to the panoramic bridge, which offers spectacular views of the gorge. A head for heights and sturdy footwear are required. After the bridge, the path turns right into the forest. From here, follow the signposts for the gorge circuit back to the starting point.

The circular trail follows the themed trail "The Legend of the Gorge Ghost." Various stations along the trail tell the story of the Gorge Ghost, who has lived in the Geisterklamm (Ghost Gorge) since the beginning of time. He knows every stone, every bird, and every moss plant. He watches over everyone and settles every dispute. This has always been the case, but for some time now, the Gorge Ghost has lost interest. When his two friends, the nature spirits Flora and Einstein, hear this, they are horrified. Help them convince the gorge spirit to stay with them, because nowhere is more beautiful than the Ghost Gorge.

Please note that the large gorge trail is not suitable for strollers or dogs.

The Ghost Gorge is open from May to October.
